Class T’s & C’s

What Level Are You

If you are unsure what level you are before starting a class, please feel free to ask or get advice from us. It is best to start with a level that is right for you and your body.

If you are a beginner to Pilates, it is advised (though not compulsory) to take at lease 1 one to one session before starting classes. This will help you gain a greater understanding of the method or practice, introduce you to the principles, guide you through the basic positions and postures and most importantly, it will help you achieve a better understanding of your own body’s strengths, weaknesses and possible limitations. The benefits will definitely speak for themselves.

Client Consent Form

Before attending any class, you will need to complete a Client Consent Form.

This is a brief health questionnaire, with questions regarding your health and fitness, past or current injuries, along with your exercise experience.  It will allow us to help direct you through classes in the best and safest way.

Please download here and bring it along to your first class: PP Consent Form

Alternatively we can email you a copy or bring one along for you to complete before the start time of your first class.

Purchasing Classes and One to One Sessions

All class passes and one to one sessions can be purchased via the website or bank transfer. We kindly ask the classes/sessions to be paid before attending your first class/session.

All classes have limited spaces, therefore after purchasing your Class Pass, classes must then be booked in advance in order to secure your place in class.

What do you need to bring?

All props and mats are provided, so you only need to bring yourself.

Wear anything you are comfortable to move in. It is easier for the teacher to assess posture and movements when clothes are more fitted, though this is not essential.

There are toilets and a changing area at all venues. Bags can be bought in to the main studio and placed around the sides of the studio.

Consistency is Key

To get the best results out of the Pilates work, commitment and consistency is key. It is advised to commit to a regular weekly class, pre-booking your classes 4-6 weeks in advance to create a positive habit. This will also help you learn and progress with the class, as different aspects of the Pilates method are taught on weekly rotations, in the open classes.
